If You Can Do It All Over Again

Mr. Big Shot.....Teamed with Richard Hamilton to form the fifth highest scoring guard tandem in the league at 34.6 points per game and became first guard tandem in NBA history to lead their team in scoring for six consecutive seasons …..Became one of two players in franchise history (Joe Dumars the other) to tally 100-plus three-point field goals in six consecutive seasons ….Scored his 10,000th career NBA point at Portland (11/13/07) … Ranks second among franchise leaders in three-point field goals made behind Joe Dumars and fourth in assists behind Isiah Thomas, Dumars and Dave Bing.
The Man was not only a Leader on the court, but off the court as well. And what people Fans don't always understand or think about is that relationship off the court and how it effects many when a player gets traded. Your Kids and Wives no longer get to hang out. Not only did Detroit lose a Leader, they lost a Brother and Best Friend. Iverson will never replace the void left by Billups departure.
At age 31 he clearly has many more years to play....Kidd is what 38 now. Did the Pistons break things up too soon? I remember Krause did the same thing. The Bulls could have won 4 more in a row and you guys would have been calling me Ten10Rings.
So all of you that like to play GM out there I ask you, would you have made this trade if you can do it all over agaiin?

You r da man! Nailed it on every point.

do you write for a paper, ESPN or a scout? Your b-ball I.Q. is off the chain!

Dumars did break it up way too early! Billups just bought a 4 Million dollar home in Detroit and planned to settle in... Then Dumars made a decision based on emotion, Not Business or team directed! By sending Billups home? This was his home?

I see Dumars point to let Stuckey Grow... but c'mon we do have more than one line?
